Leon De Bruxelles - Poitiers

We had a nice meal with the family. fish is good and portion more then well. friendly atmosphere and good host.

I enjoyed my meal very much, but it was pretty slow to get me to eat, especially when it was busy. the opening time is too late, because it will be nice when it is opened at 18 o'clock instead of at 18:30 o'clock.

My relatives live in Poitiers and like treating me to Leon de Bruxelles when I visit them. It seems management has changed and not for the best. We were quickly given a table but then we had to wait 20 minutes for our meal orders...to be taken and another 7 minutes before getting drinks. It took another 15 minutes before getting starters : waitress was nice but it seems there isn't enough staff. I asked for moules marinieres : mussels originated from Italy and were not very good quite chewy,poor quality.We decided not to have deserts or coffee as waiting time ruined all experience and the bill is not cheap. Extremely disappointed won't go back

Impromptu visit following a shopping trip to the adjacent Casino supermarket. We were very pleased with the clean and pleasant decor, the friendly and helpful staff and the quite excellent fish and frites. Only discovered later that it is one of a chain. Will certainly...visit a Leon again.
