Fun fact- Mexicali boasts the largest number of chinese restaurants of any other Mexican city. Who knew? They do a very respectable kung pao. I also enjoy the chow fun, chow mein and the chop suey is a good choice as well. The fried rice options are plentiful and tasty. One of the better restaurants in the area and fairly priced.
I never ate here before but I was in the mood for Chowmien so I decided to give it a try. The first time was great! Loved the Chowmien and beef. But the more and more I bought the same dish, I noticed how oily the noodles were. A little too much! The whole bag would be drenched in oil underneath. I'm going to see if they can use less oil and see if that does the trick. The flavor was delicious minus the excess oil.
The food here is always delicious, I never have had a bad meal at this place. Mexicali style? Not quite but close enough
This is my favorite place for Chinese food! Everything on the menu is delicious, but my favorite dish is the HOUSE CHOW MEIN. Some people have mentioned the neighborhood being a little run down, but all the best spots are hidden gems like this. Don't let the outside appearance worry you, the inside of the restaurant is really nice.
This restaurant in Pomona is truly a hidden gem. Although it is not located in the best neighborhood, once you turn North of Holt, the area becomes much more comfortable. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted with a luxurious atmosphere, complete with fresh flowers, well-dressed guests, brand-new leather seating, and designer lighting. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fresh and authentic. Personally, I adore their stir-fried vegetable dishes, while children love the pork chops. Additionally, they have a beautiful party room in the back. Don't leave without trying their must-have flan dessert.
