Great and elevated place. The staff was very friendly and the kitchen was open, so you could see that they freshly cut the food. I have one day the roasted chicken and roasted catfish. Both items are prepared to order so it was hot and delicious! Bring a lot of floss, because the zeszige corn will stick in your teeth on the cob, or save it for a snack later HAHAHA! It was seasoned to perfection, so there was no need for extra salt or hot sauce. The pound cake was soft and moist. I'm trying the peach cop. All vegetables are vegan friendly prepared, so there was no meat in the green, but still good. The Mac and the cheese were creamy and the Kool aid was thirsty!

We went for the first time today and we will definitely be customers again! The owners were friendly, personal and clearly explained the menu. And the food was not disappointed! We had chickens and catfish and both were fantastic! And finally a place where my husband could have a selection of pages to choose because none of the pages had any meat! Great food, great service and real restaurant owners.

I tried today. I had dental work and had to eat soft food. What is better than Yams and Mac and Cheese? I'll come back! The store is sweet and has a beautiful atmosphere, the Lord behind the counter was very nice and friendly, and from what I could try today... the food is very delicious. Only what I can really say negatively about my visit is that I wish the peach Cobbler wasn't so runny. But one thing about the soul cooking and I know from experience is that, no matter how often you make the recipe, it will not be perfect every time. But that's okay. I'd rather have real food from real people every day. I'm not always perfect in my kitchen. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Keep the great work Sweet Soul Kitchen.

I was hesitant to go all the way to Waterford for some food, but I'm so glad I did! I had the chicken wing dinner with Yams, Greens, a peach side. The food was so good! Best soul food I had in a while. I called my order shortly after the opening and when I arrived, it was ready to go. The place is very clean, the menu is clear, and all foods can be seen for customers. Great staff and there are even tables for customers to sit while they wait! I'll be back sooner than later!

Ive ordered several times and unfortunately food has been consistently disappointing. Corn bread is tasty but vegetables are very Salty. Most vegetables/potatoes taste as if they come from a can or box and are seasoned to spruce them up. Mac and cheese is not recommendable. Overall food is lacking but the service is good and restaurant is clean and inviting.
