Very nice, period hotel with character and charm. Out room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The bar area was welcoming with attractive decor and there's a snug with sofa, piano and books too. Breakfast was delicious and the service and staff were excellent. Fabulous room, bed so comfortable, spotlessly clean, extensive menu at night and lovely breakfast. Lovely outdoor space. Definitely recommend. A dog friendly hotel. Ate in restaurant following a number of good personal recommendations. Excellent food service. They offer a number of special themed meals throughout the year.
