Le recif - Pornichet

After reading some earlier comments in French, I was surprised to check that the owner gets angry when the reading average or bad comments are allowed to cook at his meal times or: only very positive comments are allowed to look at a first sight. Only one juice on a windy afternoon. not soothing when considering the Kovid situation. the waiter wears his mask on his kinen cm above our drinks! how is it that these people are not trained to respect the basic rules of hygiene? Le récif is a charming beach restaurant. the food is mouthwater, the products are fresh and meals are well presented. the team is beautiful and the service is excellent. it is ideal for families with children because the small ones can play in the sand. if they are bored. very recommended we come back!

We were staying in Saumur and decided to go out for lunch. kms away we found Le Recif on the Atlantic coast just past Saint Nazaire. The setting was wonderful, right on the beach , and they provided blankets and hot-water bottles when could,...and a sparkling ocean, sun hats and shade when hot. Everyone, including the unable-to-drink driver had a great meal and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The food was absolutely delicious. Excellent menu and wine list. Prices very reasonable.

What a great atmosphere a rustic beach hut right on the sand with outdoor seating in the sand or on a partially covered raised deck complete with patio heaters, blankets and hottie bottles for inclement days this is a FUN place ..good simple food beautifully cooked and served by the proprietors and their delightful team. Ignore the reviews by those who don't get it' this is THE place to chill out and have a fun unhurried meal.
