Restaurante Washoku - Portalegre

I'll be honest - I didn't really want to dine here last night, and I had very low expectations - my experiences with "oriental buffet" haven't been very positive.But my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here - "all you can eat buffet" for 10.90€ - last night.I don't eat fish, but my wife enjoyed the sushi - she's no expert in these matters, but she said it was the best she'd ever had.I went "chinese" - not the largest spread I've ever seen, but a fair range of different flavours, hot, well-cooked and quickly replenished. Some fresh fruit, jelly, or fruit cocktail to finish and all was well.It's a large place, with a lot of inside seating as well an an outside area with a great view - it was too cool (yes, in late June) to eat outside, but I presume in better weather that's possible and would be most pleasant.All the staff were very friendly, which is often not the case in places such as these, which was refreshing. And, to top it all off, as well as the "usual suspects" at the bottom of the wine tree, they had some decent quality offerings too.A great place for "different" food in Portalegre, at last - we'll be back.

I don't eat fish, but my wife enjoyed the sushi she's not an expert in these things, but she said it was the best she ever had. I went Chinese not the biggest spread I have ever seen, but a just selection of different flavors, hot, well boiled and quickly refilled. Finish some fresh fruits, jelly or fruit cocktail and everything was good. It is a great place to eat with a lot of indoor seating as well as an outdoor area with a great view it was too cool (yes, end of June), but I guess in better weather, that is possible and would be most pleasant. All employees were very friendly, which was often not the case in places like this, which was refreshing. And to round off everything, as well as the usual suspects at the bottom of the wine tree, they also had some decent quality offers. A great place for various foods in Portalegre, finally we are back.

It is a great place to eat, the food is great and the service was pretty good. I can't say it's bad because I'm a vegetarian, I don't have much to eat, but that's not her fault. There's vegetarian sushi, but it's really fast, so I really have to wait a long time. However, this is completely normal as it is not a vegetarian restaurant. I loved the fact that you can get your own ingredients and bring them to a cook that weeps them for you. There was only one thing that felt a bit unhappy. After dinner I paid my meal and a few children (they seemed to be out of the restaurant) eat the food from the buffet with their own hands. I recommend it not-vegetarians tho

It's a great place to eat, the food is great and the service was pretty good.I can't say it's bad because i'm a vegetarian, i didn't get to eat much but that's not their fault. There is vegetarian sushi but it goes really fast, so i have to wait a really long time. However that's completely normal since it's not a vegetarian restaurant. I loved the fact that you can get your own ingredients and bring it to a cook that fries them for you.There was only one thing that made me feel a bit unconfortable. After eating, I was paying my meal and a bunch of kids (they seemed to be from the restaurant) were eating the food from the buffet with their own hands.I do recommend it to non-vegetarians tho
