Our food took 90 minutes to come out, and when it finally did, the pork shank was frozen and the ribs were tough and impossible to eat. Our drinks were also not filled to the brim, and our server was unpleasant and ignored us for the majority of our meal. We ultimately decided to leave, a first for us. Overall, it was a dreadful experience, and I cannot recommend dining at Saucebox.
Visited for portland restaurant month and had the $33 per person menu. it was great and had a wonderful time with my wife there. our waiter was great and the service was on site. we went there on the early side, around 17 o'clock, since we were around 19 o'clock to house for the children. we had the whole dining room for us up to about 6:20p. will definitely be back on my list.
Man, where do I start? late dinner after the flight in an hour before, we had Korean ripening, fall out of the bone delicate and tasteful; chicken caraage tender and packed with taste; ochsenschwein fun, which was piping hot and delicate ochsen dick; hummer curry so smooth, hazy of zitrus and a bit of spicy; when do we come back? many thanks for a great dinner!
Came here to the birthday of a friend on a Thursday night. there were not many people here it is actually quite empty at 19:30 clock. we ordered the Pupu cellar and the salmon and the tofu. food: eating is amazing! the plate was a good opportunity to get a nice rehearsal of many things and the salmon had a great dressing. Ambient: very intimate and quirky place! service: our type tim was amazing! he gave us dessert on the house and a candle to the birthday of my friend so that we really had a great time. thanks tim! would come back!
This Asian fusion restaurant is one must eat and music and atmosphere is not overwhelming. with a wash basin outside the bathroom to encourage people to wash their hands. the food and drinks are really good
