They have their names on their shirt and I couldn't tell you their names off hand. It's just an example of people who are good at their job and try hard. Good customer service is hard to come by, especially in Portland. Thanks for being a shining star here.
This place is often busy at the start of the business day, or around lunch do to the local office tenants, but the line moves quickly as the staff are well practiced at dealing with it. However, should the wait be too long for you, or the seating too sparse, then head North one building to find another Starbucks, with a much larger space!
This Starbucks is one of the busiest in the city, if it's Monday- Friday that is. Expect to see city hall workers, employees of Standard Insurance, students of St. Mary's, and people who work in the PacWest Center. Recent renovations eased traffic flow in and out of the store so lines move fast. Sat/Sun this store is closed but there is one 2 blocks west at Essex House OR one two blocks north on 6th Avenue on the first floor of a parking structure.
It's a Starbucks. You know what you're getting: sugary espresso drinks at a reasonable price in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff at this location is awesome.
Everyone who works there is amazing. Especially the following gentlemen who are my personal rays of sunshine each and every morning: Chris, Jonathon, Nathan, Travis, Caleb, Cody, Steele You guys are truly the best. Thank you for doing everything you do.
