Saigon - Portland

Solid place to dine in. The smell makes me feel like I was home back in Nam.

I am obsessed with the pork dumplings and beef pho!

This was a takeout order, first time trying this restaurant and we were thrilled to find a place we are eager to try again. We has a Saigon egg roll, steamed dumplings, Vietnamese noodles with pork, sweet n sour chicken and curry chicken. Everything was fresh and flavorful and veggies were the right crispness even after traveling home with our order, yay. We were especially impressed with the curry chicken—the sauce was perfect in taste and texture. Looking forward to trying more of what’s on the menu.

Wow, I was amazed at how friendly our waitress was, how speedy the service was, and most importantly how absolutely delicious the food was. I ate lunch here around 10:30, they open early every day. It was so great, I would highly recommend, and I plan to return.

The pho here was unique compared to other restaurants in the area. Very rich and flavorful and slightly on the sweeter side (if that’s how you can describe the taste). They gave us a small tofu soup that I really loved. I haven’t ever tasted something like this before but wow! It was amazing! The sauté spice was also very yummy.
