Via Garrett - Porto

First night in Porto we ate here and it was such a good choice. So much so that after trying a few more this was by far the best. Food was excellent, not far from where we were staying and the staff were nice too. Highly recommend the steak and the poached pear afterwards.

We ate a grilled fish mix and a francesinha a Garret. My wife really enjoyed the butter steamed fish and mixed vegetables as garnish. The francesinha of the house was one of the best I had in Porto. The very kind staff were grateful for the 10% tip, they said good by to us smiling and waving.

Awesome restaurant! Friendly service !! Good comfort food. A must visit When In Porto!! Good! good ! Good!!

We had breakfast here every day on our long weekend (except Sunday when it was shut) ... fabulous. It seems to be a family concern and they were very friendly. We indulged in the custard tarts, and added fruit salad to persuade ourselves it was healthy! Some of the pastries come in still warm from the oven. Yum. The coffee was excellent too. And all for half the price our restaurant was charging.

We find this place by accident, is very good, the service( waiter are super friendly and nice) , the food is good and its have very good price.
