Beach frequented mainly by Germans, very suitable for those who love diving. The characteristics are rocks and gravel, the only flaw for swimmers who need to wear suitable shoes, for the rest what can I say, very transparent water and the beach partly shaded by large trees (tamarisk) and therefore very relaxing even for those who suffer a lot from the heat ,.....hot which is felt as it is in a narrow cove. Be careful of jellyfish on some days. One last thing to say, but no less important is the route, very beautiful and panoramic, which takes place from Porto Azzurro to Barbarossa, a pedestrian path between large cacti and stretches in the shade of large plants and every now and then a short stop for admire the panorama of this part of the island. Journey of approximately 20 minutes.
The bay is close to Porto Azzurro and is the starting point for beautiful hikes or just to chill out. It is a pebble beach. There is little shade here, as is parking right on the beach. There is a bar and a restaurant on the beach. If you want to dive, you can do so at the diving school there or simply go snorkeling. In summer there is also a lifeguard. You can endure it well here
