La Rada - PORTOFERRAIO

We were staying in the hotel next door and had dinner here twice. One night there was a huge thunderstorm and it was so lovely to feel the breeze of the water coming into the restaurant. Nobody speaks English, and why should they! My basic Italian and google translate got us through. It was not expensive and food was great. Black octopus gnocchi was my favourite. My wife and daughter are vegetarian and they happily cooked some tomato pasta. Pizza and desert all good.

Nothing special for the food, except the large portions, and very modest appetisers. Service is barely decent without any attention to the customers (not that rare in Elba unfortunately). I'd pass.

We loved this restaurant. The view was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the food was delicious. Best meal in Italy so far on our vacation!

Questo locale offre una vasta gamma di piatti in un menù ben articolato assieme a quello della pizzeria. I piatti sono buoni ed il servizio abbastanza celere. Un punto in meno per i prezzi delle pizze un po' altini.
