The Cottage Cafe - Portsmouth

Ordered 2 meals. 1 chicken burger meal with extra patty t/sauce mayo and a strip meal. This was repeated on the phone and I agreed my order. When the order arrived I had a beef burger do not eat red meat with hha sauce and mayo. When contacted the restaurant back they refused to take any blame in the matter and to resolve it offered me to 're order at an extra cost even though this was their mistake. When explaining to the staff members their mistake the phone got passed through 2 members of staff who both were rude and became more aggressive on the phone. Absolutely furious with the service received and will not be ordering from them again. To top it off they told me I would be having a red flag against my address! If I could give a 0 star rating I would give it even lower then that !!

Just ordered a large order from here. The portions were perfetic wouldn't even feed a child and the meat was burnt would not recommend this place at all.

I order through deliveroo as it had good reviews on there which was the biggest mistake I should of come over here to read the reviews first. I order the food and waited at the lounge of the hotel with my phone and set on loud for any notifications. I put the address right too as I stayed at the hotel before and there was an auto fill for the address. When we eventually got to meet up the driver was extremely rude and said my phone was set off... it wasn’t o showed him and then he said the address was completely wrong.... I got a little annoyed and left a blind eye as I hate confrontations. Anyhow o took the food to my room the wings were very dry the burger was okish but the mushrooms in the burger were thinner then paper! Like wow... has COVID-19 really made you that stingy?!?!? Then we opened the drinks bag we ordered 4 tango apple and a mirander strawberry) we got 4 tango orange instead... I didn’t call back because i already started reading the reviews on here and I know they’ll start telling me that I am wrong bla bla bla... Anyways i will never order from them again and will never recommend it to anyone. Rather go to sleep hungry then make the evening miserable for yourself.

Utterly awful. My kebab arrived in a pizza box, with pizza written on it, so when I pointed out I’d not ordered a pizza they took it away (bearing in mind I couldn’t check the contents under social distancing rules) and left me with what I thought was the three kebabs I’d ordered. When I realised that my kebab was missing I rang the restaurant, who told me it was entirely my fault, took no responsibility whatsoever for their delivery driver (in quite a direct and very rude manner), and refused to do anything at all. I implore you not to use this place. PS the food wasn’t that good either.

Ordered a delivery via ubereats . Kebab was wrong . Phoned up restaurant who refused to do anything to rectify . I was even sworn at by the manager who then hung up on me
