No.1 Chinese - Poughkeepsie

Eating is fresh and tasty, but not salty like some other Chinese restaurants. steamed dumplings are so delicious. service was fast and efficient. will order again from this restaurant

Another Chinese go to! Food is fantastic and they deliver to most places in poughkeepsie.

I ordered chicken with cashew. I specifically requested that there be no celery in this dish and that there be mushrooms added. There was more celery in this dish than there was chicken which was probably a good thing because what chicken there was was unidentifiable as chicken and appeared as small, curd like, tough pieces of meat. I couldn't tell you what part of the chicken this came from. The sauce was sparse, thick and flavorless. There were no mushrooms to be found. The eggroll was tiny and I don't know what was inside that either. The subgum wonton soup was ok. I have gotten food from this restaurant before and found it very good. I don't know what has happened but there are enough other restaurants around that I won't be going back.

Always delicious food and they are a nice family business. highly recommended

Very good food. Hidden gem in the plaza. Decent prices and portions. Recommend.
