Ganesh rooftop restaurant, Pushkar

This newly opened restaurant is run by a cook with over 20 years of experience from the well-known Sunset Restaurant. It has a great location across from Baba Rooftop Restaurant and Cafe 'Free Tibet', offering views of the lake, temple, and street for people-watching. The owner is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is delicious. They offer a breakfast buffet for Rs 100 with fresh fruits, yogurt, muesli, cornflakes, porridge, pancakes, and a choice of tea. During the high season, they also offer a dinner buffet which I found to be tastier and better value than other options in the area. Their a la carte menu is also excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is currently upgrading their menu to include pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven and fresh brown bread soon. It's a shame I didn't discover this gem earlier in my stay as it's one of the cleanest spots in the city where you can even see the kitchen in action. The entrance is located next to the AXIS Bank ATM, next to Natraj Guesthouse.

Located in the main bazaar, we ordered dal fry, mixed vegetables, and stuffed naan at this restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty, just like homemade meals. The prices were also reasonable. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The restaurant is adding pizzas cooked in an open fire oven and fresh brown bread to their menu soon. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem in the city and one of the cleanest places around.
