Trattoria Da Giambate - POVOLETTO

Traditional cuisine, simple, flavorful Friulian dishes. The homemade tagliatelle ai porcini (mushrooms) were a delight, not gummy (which means they did not spend any prolonged period of time under ice), cooked to perfection. The pollo al cacciatore was also a delight, albeit smaller parts of the bird but their essence was well combined with the other ingredients essential to the preparation...long period in the oven at low temperature to avoid drying. The final was a homemade torta di mandorla (almond cake) which was served warm. Service was efficent, friendly...will definitely come back. Bravi.

Ottimo, storico locale friulano, cucina tradizionale tramandata dalla mamma, veramente ok.
