Con upfront: there's a non cash adjustment added to every check. I don't know what the threshold to not getting it but since I was dining alone. I don't know if they knew that I was to pay credit beforehand or not but... shouldn't that be something that's added as a possibility at the bottom of the check. Maybe I had cash on me. I'm not sure and I'll ask when I come again with a bigger party to have a higher check amount. Still a pretty quiet and semi empty location because it's new. I had the craving for ceviche so I decided to attend on a Friday after work at around 6pmish. The staff was all smiles and active, moving all around but of course they were huddled up in one plane in the down time from taking their food to their tables. The second that bell would ring from the kitchen, someone would be getting their food in less than a minute. Hand sanitizer, plenty hot sauces and napkins galore at every table. Ceviche mixto/ octopus wasn't chewy at all. Shrimp wasn't like the cheap stuff you might find at a regular seafood place. The right amount of acidity and a touch of heat. Wasn't sure if the hit of heat was from the onion, the pepper or something else. But it was totally manageable. Cucumber and tomato was so finely cut that it wasn't like one of those salads where it's all veggie and little seafood. Fries are well crisp and a good amount of crunch. Chicken quesadilla was full of good chunks of chicken (felt like chicken breast that was properly grilled beforehand). Stuffed full of cheese, think it was queso fresco. The quesadilla is a good option for those younger picky eaters who always go for the chicken at a seafood place. all in all I would definitely return here with the family. Good portions of fresh and great tasting food for the prices listed. It's not crazy cheap but if the cheaper items tasted this well, I can't imagine the higher priced items.
The fish was great! The service was good as well. We were seated attended quickly. If you like seafood! This is a good spot to try out.
Big eating is appreciated, but bad eating or eating average is much more inconspicuous. coming from a Mexican family, we always have someone home that is a good cook, it prepares us better than adult, our palate changes and refined. some people still hug their old almost food/junk food guilty joys. I love my house kitchen and love a nice restaurant meal. this restaurant is more of the still bad eating or average eating. the advertising as Mexican seafood restaurant is far from it. I believe the experience they offer us, as guests should be great tasting and a funny one, and the advertising should be faithful to their as Mexican cuisine. do not think we will be back again, it was our first time there and it will be our last.
I'd like to set a 5 stars! but customer service needs to be better. the waitress barely stopped with our refills. the appetizer literally came a little before our eating that took too long. we were really mad, called the waitress to ask what's going on with our appetizer she saw us and completely ignored us. (She knew what's going on) she could finally explain it and communicate with us. tipp is included on their bill of 15% I do not understand why if this waitress does not even care about the service they give. why even try if they still get their tip, which was different from eating was really good. I love seafood!
