Le Café Chaplin - Puducherry

So last week I was on my Tamil Nadu Trip and visited some of their famous joints to taste their uniqueness.. My first stop was Pondicherry. The temperature as compared to our amdavadi temperature is moderate.. Roaming in Pondicherry and thought to take a break in this very cute small cafe. It has been in my bookmark list from the time I was in Pondicherry for my studies. So at last i got a chance ????. It was an afternoon time so Thot to order something light yet unique. For such a climate, mocktails can do a wonder. We ordered- Mint and lime soda - 3/5 Unlike other cafes where they make lime juice mixed with soda and mint leaves, they have actually made mint and lemon paste to soda. It was indeed fresh and summer drink Mint-lemon juice- 3/5 It was same like the soda. Instead of using soda they just added chilled water to it. Everything was same. Sugar crepe - 2/5 Being in such a beautiful French city and not trying their French cuisine is the stupidest thing one can do ????. Crepe is a famous dish that comes in sweet and savior as well. I personally love sweet dishes so here it was ????.. I was disappointed with the quantity actually. Talking about the taste, it was decent. Aesthetics- its a small white colored cafe. Interior is simple yet so pure. You feel so relax..

This place is basically known for French cuisine but I don't feel that it all the same Indian flavor. Ambience is good . Tried cheesy omlete which was ok oka and could have been better.

Yes was searching for some French connection ,got it right here juices,mojitos, eggs ,sandwiches France is in air and ever thing made here is freshly brewed and place is cool , stay lazy chill out

Living in pondicherry since 5 years, this place was a breath of fresh air when I discovered it. The decor is commendable as it is strikingly serene and beautiful- with calm white hues. The food was exactly how I was expecting it to be- creamy and delicious. Loved the carbonara pasta, Nutella waffle, french omelette. The staff is very polite the only problem being the delay in gettinbn our order. But fear not, there is a host of French and Rajasthani ( no clue why;)) stuff available to look at and buy. Overall, a memorable experience.
