Hen House Cafe - Pueblo West

Quality of the food have really gone downhill, since new ownership has taken over. And prices continue to rise, even though COVID is over.

My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite. in roughly 30 minutes we got drinks and our food order TAKEN after having to ask to have someone wait on us. Then we told the cashier we were leaving.The service has become atrocious here and I do not believe it's the waitstaff but the management.There are now posted signs to not be mean to the waitstaff I'd think that would me a sign that things need to change and fast, particularly in the kitchen.This was our favorite place in town but since the new management came in, service has rapidly deteriorated and we won't be back until there's signs that things have tremendously improved.And the occurrence I described has happened multiple times since the purchase. Be aware if you go, you could be in for a long wait.

I have never had a bad meal at the Hen House. The food is good, the ladies who serve are pleasant, and the price is good.

Great hometown restaurant with good old fashioned comfort food! Been customers for years and even though we moved in to the city, we'll continue to stop by when we can.

I usually like to order ahead of time and take my order home to eat it. Since new ownership l have found it hard to call in order. I have been assured this has been corrected.
