Feedback gevenFood was excellent. Service was excellent, and the prices were extremely reasonable. Food portions were generous, and the quality and freshness was impressive. Our waiter suggested for an appetizer the Aguachile, which is a Chili-Spiked Mexican Ceviche and it's killer. The 3 tacos appetizer could easily be a meal in and of itself, and was excellent. I particularly like the fish taco of the trio as it was flavorful with an almost Mahi Mahi texture and taste. For dessert we had the tres leches cake and it was outstanding. It was very light, but packed with flavor. Paolo Perri who is a permanently relocated Canadian and one of the owners as well as the chef came out and was very friendly and engaging and you could tell he takes great pride in his establishment and rightfully so. He was so nice, he even comped our dessert. The restaurant covers 4 cuisines, American, Mexican, Japanese and Italian and I was shocked at how well they did all of them. So if someone in your party has a craving for one cuisine and you have a taste for something else, this place is even more perfect for you. I highly recommend this restaurant, you'll be glad that you went. I know that we will definitely be going back.
The atmosphere is great, however the food was very bland. I ordered the fajitas combo and have had far better tasting fajitas at chain restaurants in the USA. Also, the waiters are not as attentive as they should be, lemonade wasn't refilled unless requested, dishes weren't removed unless I asked. While I this restaurant has put some money into its decor and finishes, it still lacks the basic ingredient to a good restaurant; good tasting food.
I had the Chicken Parmigiana with roasted potatoes and vegetables. It came with focaccia bread. It was delicious and exceptional. Also the beef scallopini was really tender and awesome gravy. Another dish ordered was Gnocchi with tomato sauce, which was ok. We were impressed with the variety of foods, and the portions. Service was wonderful and very attentive. New establishment, just opened since last winter, Beautiful view of the marina, It is just down from Starbucks on the Marina corner. Prices were reasonable.180 pesos for my dish. I think the gnocchi was 140 pesos, not as tasty as La Terraza, The Beef dish was about 230 pesos.
