A small casual Japanese eatery on Harris St serves bento boxes, udon, sushi & sashimi. They offer good value lunch time set menu. I ordered a softshell crab salad and the portion is substantial with 4 pieces of battered soft shell crab. Not a lot of salad though. Not bad for $13. weekendnotes.com
This place has fallen in quality and service. It seems that there is a new management, and the food is missing Japanese quality that it once had. We live around the corner, and so we participated in this place at least once a week and noticed the change in the last few months. Do not even expect Japanese food here. Sad to see this one the hill goes down. Avoid it!
One of my locals, since moved into the area. I think the food is always reliable, favorites are Takoyaki and the sushi - fast and delicious !!!!
Yes, it was a day where it is kept locally, I love that Sushi Club has come here for years. The shallow buddy decided that Menuloge was boring old, the same Thai, pizza or MSG invite Chinese Chinese, so on Sushi Club popped to see what was available for acceptance. Always the ever helpful and courteous folk, he was loaded back with an almost for more than 2 (could not move for a few hours). The food from the Sushi Club is always first class and take no exception. We had the Harbor Bridge plate with one side serving hot smoked eel Sushi. The fish is always fresh from this immovable lil restaurant, and you are counting between my personal top 5 in the area for a big affordable food ...
