I highly recommend this restaurant for the best Lebanese food I have ever tried. Thank you so much, Linda!
We absolutely adored this restaurant! After being disappointed by a trendy Italian place recommended by our hotel, my husband and I sought out a more authentic dining experience. We stumbled upon this hidden gem away from the touristy areas and couldn't have been happier. Despite being told they were fully booked, we decided to try our luck and were fortunate enough to get a table after 7pm. The waitress spoke English and guided us through the menu, suggesting the delicious house sparkling Greek wine. We started with appetizers like feta red pepper spread and Greek sausage, followed by a Greek salad and grilled octopus with veggies. The meal was accompanied by pita, bread, olive oil, and balsamic with honey. We indulged in two glasses of wine each and left feeling completely satisfied. The total bill came to $140 Canadian dollars, equivalent to about $108 US dollars. The ambiance of the restaurant was exactly what you would expect from a Greek taverna, with white and blue tiles, a cozy atmosphere, lively music, and friendly service. We were so glad to have discovered this wonderful spot in Quebec City.
As a half Greek, I enjoy trying restaurants that serve Greek cuisine wherever I go. This particular restaurant was the best I've been to. We decided to give it a try after a local recommended it, and it was crowded with locals for a reason. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the tzatziki sauce which was the best I've ever had. The staff were fantastic as well, both professional and welcoming. I also couldn't get enough of the baklava. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant next time I'm in the city.
Best Greek food I ate since coming back from Athens! Everything in this restaurant is Greek; from the food, to the drinks, to the music and even some waiters! This is a must experience if you never tried!
Although hard to get a reservation, it was worth the wait. Make sure to call several days before you want to dine because they are often booked. The food was fantastic. The service was great as well! Also, for English speakers, all the staff also spoke English. I was a solo traveler with a limited ability for French and I had zero trouble! One thing I would say is to familiarize yourself with traditional Greek cuisine if you’re a picky eater. I had to Google a lot of things while I was browsing the menu.(not anything against the restaurant. That’s a me thing.
