The Compass - Queens

The restaurant is small, but it has a relaxed atmosphere and a nice view of the area, including LaGuardia Airport, the 7 train, and Citi Field. I suggest visiting on a nicer day for a better experience. So far, this is the only place I've found that makes cocktails with Chinese liqueurs, and I'm definitely interested in trying more if they offer them. The karaage I had was decent, although some pieces were a bit tough. It was served with a sweet and tangy sauce instead of the usual mayo and Japanese red pepper.

My experience here was phenomenal. We came on Wednesday night, so it wasn't packed. The drinks were amazing. Flavorful and full character. Customer service was so pleasant. The finger food was delicious! My favorite part was the cups! They are all different and unique. Very nice touch. Please note that this is an intimate bar in winter. These are ARTISAN COCKTAILS! Please don't come here and try to order a vodka Red Bull. Please be an adult and Google location before your visit. These are handmade drinks. I can't wait to be back!

What a silly room of a bar. came here on Wednesday night at midnight since I was in the hotel. there is a guy here and all these elaborate drinks that take about 5 minutes to make. all kinds of cutting obst, grinding and whatever they think makes a single drink as long as possible. a party of 4 came in and he was busy for 20 minutes. then he spent a few 10 minutes on her drinks while I was waiting. he waited 40 minutes and just left. john taffer would lose his vote that cries about how bad this bar works. I wonder if the menu designers knew there was a person working here? I don't even want to stay in this hotel anymore. they don't waste their time like me.

The food is surprisingly good! The view is Gangster! Drinks are a little over price and the room is quite small. But the professionals weigh the cons and I'd go back.

Lovely view, quite possibly the best of our whole trip, and the happy hour makes this a cheap spot to drink while the sun sets over the stadium.
