The result was far from satisfying, I couldn't taste the milk or the tea, it was terribly sweet (up to the point where I could see and feel the mountain of sugar grains on the bottom of the cup). The straw got really sticky due to the overload of white sugar. To make matter worst, the brown sugar pearls were hardened. Really can't recommend this place, seek your boba craving elsewhere. The staff were friendly and that is the plus point about this place.
Amazing place! Super yummy treats and drinks! Wonderful staff and customer service. Also a very sensory friendly environment for ordering as someone (myself with autism and sensory needs and issues :
I used to like this place to order shakes with real fruits and ice cream. Today I ordered strawberry banana shake but it wasn't taste very good. I should've ordered at Tim Hortons instead. They changed the recipe? Because of the person who made my drink? Different owner? Maybe I won't come back again.
The pearls were hard and there were way too many. The milk of my tea carried the entire drink and I know that they didn’t milk cows for that milk. The waffles were soggy and doused in what tasted like Nesquik chocolate sauce. The ice cream looked like it had an infection and the “Oreos” weren’t even Oreos, they were off-brand. The workers were sweet at least.
Small place in the Skytrain station that seems to mostly be a grab and go operation, but they do have a few tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your drink or dessert. Despite being a small shop, they have a huge menu, with traditional bubble tea and slushes and some power smoothies , plus dessert waffles and dacquoise in a few flavours. I love that everything can be made vegan (they have oat milk, oat ice cream, and coconut whip). I got the Pandan Coconut (Oat) Milk Tea with Pearls and Coconut Jelly and a Black Sesame Dacquoise. The tea was good but not outstanding. I got no sugar and no ice. I would have liked the flavour to be stronger overall I thought the coconut was prominent enough, but the pandan was very weak. The jellies were really good and the pearls were fine also. I think this was actually my first time trying oat milk in bubble tea, and it was actually really nice; I wondered if the oat might clash with the coconut pandan flavour, but they actually worked just fine together I 'd definitely recommend trying your milk tea with oat milk! The dacquoise seemed like it was alright as far as the quality of the baking (I haven 't had dacquoise before so I don 't have a good standard to hold it to), but I couldn 't really taste the black sesame, so while I 'd say their dacquoise in general might be worth a try if you like this type of pastry, I 'd recommend trying a different flavour to see if it 's stronger. The person working while I visited was really nice and patient while I decided what to order. My drink was made in a reasonable amount of time. The prices on the drinks are pretty reasonable, the dacquoise was a little overpriced.
