Gen Korean Bbq House - Rancho Cucamonga

Found a coiled metal fiber from a sponge in my food! Talked to the manager and he said “ we’ll discount a head from your party” realized we weren’t being attended to (after we complained about the sponge fiber) so decided to set a timer and recorded 45+ min without any proper service. Walked out without paying for a two person party! Don’t regret it. Don’t go here. Go to u Grill down the street!

7/30 was the date of our visit.When we first walked in, you could tell the AC was broken and it felt very humid. The server mentioned that the AC has been broken for a month, she even carried a paper fan to try to stay cool. That alone made our experience very uncomfortable especially when you are cooking the meats. I couldn't imagine trying to work a shift in those conditions. We were seated in the upper section of the restaurant and one of our party members had trouble walking up the stairs. They did have a service elevator but it was not working and it looked like it was used for storage. The upper level wooden floors were really slick and slippery. I was worried that a customer or employee could fall and hurt themselves. They were also out of utensils, we had to share what had. I hope who ever is in charge of maintenance fixes the AC asap.

AC was out during our visit. The place was so hot they got flood fans. My 3 year old and 6 month old were sweating as was I. We waited 10 minutes for napkins. Our original order of meat didn't come until the last fee minutes of us getting ready to leave. The waiter was non existent and honestly I don't think they should've been open considering they had zero AC. That's Unsafe Conditions for the customers and the workers alike. The food was not great and that's probably due to the lack of AC. Lost a customer for life.

The experience was awesome!! Our server (Jacob, I think) was very direct and knew what we might enjoy. The place was clean, and the service was quick. We got our grills changed a couple of times. The server even ran after us in the parking lot to return a baby bottle we had left behind.Food: 5/5
