Wonderful location and convenient to Solana Beach and Del Mar racetrack. The staff here is very friendly and helpful and the golf, tennis and pickleball facilities are top notch. Everything is competitively priced; this is a good place for a short stay. The only downside is that the rooms are older and need a refresh, although they do a nice job in keeping everything clean .

If you stay here, know that hotel guests are NOT their first priority. Special events, board members and golfers take over the tiny hotel parking lot, leaving no room for paying hotel guests. We parked in a spot reserved for their Board Chair, the only option Sunday afternoon and notified the front desk of same no problem we were assured. Later found a WARNING ticket on the car! Rooms are as described by others: adequate but stained carpet, tiny patio dirty. Only asked for maid service once during a 4 night stay and still had to ask for shampoo/etc to be replenished. Rate was quite reasonable for summer in Del Mar.

Fake luxury. It's in a nice location next to a country club, but the rooms are moldy and musty smelling, the carpets are old and stained, the TVs are old and tiny, our small porch was covered in stagnant water the whole time making it unusable, and a large rat was seen several times just outside our sliding doors. It was also loud all the time, with large trucks, and golf carts rolling past at all hours. We found someone else's contact lens in our sheets, making us wonder whether they had been washed too. Internet hardly works in the rooms.On top of all of this, they up-charge you for everything from breakfast, to events, to using the gym $20/day! , to watching a movie.Avoid it unless you really need to be right on the golf course.

Came for a family event. The venue was perfect, the staff was amazing. Everything in those departments was on point.I’d have to say my rating for this stay would have to be for the lodging. The rooms have a very stagnant smell, the toilet continually clogs. But what is frustrating the most is the amount of bites you’ll received when staying at this location. We had an extremely large group of family and multiple rooms for this venue and bed bugs were found. Multiple family members slept in their cars after a day/night of celebrating together. (Was too late and too far inland to find another hotel)Personally stayed in room #109 and I’d asked for the room to be fumigated before letting others stay in that room. I’ve had to treat my entire luggage system and home once I had gotten back from our travel.I have yet to receive a response to my emails or anything.Please be very cautious. Venue and staff amazing for events.Rooms: Rooms would be terrible.Food drinks: Staffing and venue amazing.
