Portage Tap House - Rangeley

5/22/2020 update: First dine-in experience after this COVID craziness started. Staff was very professional with plenty of space and precautions. We all felt very safe and welcome. Great new place in Quossoc. Great beer selection, very good food and a friendly staff (Lily was awesome) like most places in Rangeley area. Food came out pretty fast as well. Playground close by for the kids and outdoor seating is available. I definitely recommend this place and will come back next time.

I?m a little slow on the review but man oh man we ordered 3 meals to share between the two of us we couldn?t make up our minds! And all three were hands down delicious! The blueberry bbq sauce they had ! Yummm

So I ate the food before taking pictures. But it was that good. I am a foodie and have dissatisfied up until tonight. I ate the poutine fries which were perfect. Not too much brown gravy and actual cheese curd. To top it off they had Bork belly chunks cooked The street corn was delicious as well with a light drizzle of spicy aioli. The spicy was a perfect balance with the sweetness of the corn. The half rack of blueberry bbq ribs were fall off the bone delectable. Roasted zucchini and squash were seasoned and cooked perfectly and not just an afterthought. The chefs here take care in both cooking and presentation of their food. Backed with an amazing staff I have no critiques of this place. It?s worth the drive.

Great service and food. Outstanding local craft beer selection. Get there early or be prepared to wait. This will be our destination ding in the Rangeley area from now on.

Herm not sure why all the good reviews. Perhaps because the beer selection, which is pretty good. How hard is it to make a medium burger, though?I?ve given you many many tries! #charcoal.. At least others had pizza for me eat. Too bad the crust has a medicinal aroma. ???????
