Feedback gevenYes, again Kannenbäcker, but the Sporthotel in Ransbach-Baumbach. This visit was triggered once by a vain visit about 3 months ago, where one was not willing to entertain me as a single guest at 13.45, but on the other hand a current ad in the last municipal leaflet, in which a lunch buffet was advertised for € 6.90 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Now a buffet history is not necessarily my favorite, in no culinary division, but we will come back later. And I was quite hungry and still indefinite. Arrival at 12.45 am from the swimming pool side, parking no problem. Access for disabled people, however, is already an insolable problem with 3 consecutive stair packages. There are also stages inside, sports hotel, okay. “There should be a buffet here,” I explain to the young female service in the dark in the semi-dark of the counter area. There I also see a built-up buffet area of the main dishes and follow the stretched dark arm to the bright left, a small guest room with windows, minimally covered tables with bright ceiling, salt and pepper and a living flower. Miss Dark followed me to the chosen table, the room is empty, and explains to me that the menu price contains a small drink and makes offers such as small Cola, small Limo, ... . Since I don't drink something like this, I ask them to look for a wine. I start with the late reading of my newspaper, but she can't look anymore. So I start my meal with a soup, there's one, a vegetable soup, almost hot, pleasant deposits, but completely saltless. Salt is on the table, after that it is okay, therefore 3 stars. The soup is almost spooned when a second young female service appears, with the remark “Ah, you also take the buffet”. Ups, I think “Why? I have nothing else.” And she wants to know what I want to drink. She also wants to get rid of her little drink. I declare to her that some time ago I had asked her colleague for the drink card for W e i n. It dehumidifies, returns, gives me a map, scanned with a view, i n wine in sight. So, map back, question “Do you not have a wine card?” She floats back, returns with another card. Excellent, I read under the first position “Riesling Scheidgen Halbtrocken, 3,90 €”, a decent wine. She's coming back, I'm ordering with a card-like text, see quote above. You obviously don't say anything. I open the map again, show the first wine in the list, “here, position 1”. She writes on her bell. Now a glass is brought, well tempered, yes, that's good. The empty cup is taken. To further deeds. In the meantime, the cook has returned, which has the issue of the main dishes and also explains the selection. I think that's good, much better than the Rumgemansche by fellow guests. The selection is plentiful: I come to counted 8 “courts” under his control. I tried the turkey roll with champignons and spaghetti as/at first gear. And I was very positively surprised that was the best turkey dish ever. The meat decomposed on the tongue, good champignons, sauce delicious, spaghetti to quite a few raged by heat very good. 4.5 points The 2nd gear was a (riesen) piece from the very good looking crust roast, unfortunately there was no suitable supplement, therefore supplemented with a mixed meat/eat meal with the sauce. The crust roast was full of taste and substance, the spear was very hard and dry at the beef, with the remaining meat and vegetables ok, also overall, therefore 3 stars. At the 3.Gang the cook was no longer present, Miss Black was unfortunately no substitute, the Paella I wanted could not even be ignored among the available possibilities. My show helped her and me. Then what I had on the plate was not necessarily what I understand under a paella. Therefore there is no photo. In the meantime, the Miss White was released to clean up. She asked for more wishes, like drinks? My wine glass was still semi-full, my stomach wasn't quite what I wanted to convey to her in similar terms. 4 fish fillets of 2 fish species, which were quite oversoft, a poor shrimp baby and a lot of mushy rice, all just a maximum handwarm. It could have tasted, so good-natured 1.5 stars. I mention that there were also different salads for the sake of completeness. I've been looking for something sweet. But yesterday's vitamin shock is enough for a week. There were 2 desserts, what red and something with chocolate biscuit on top. Both was sweet and tasted, I didn't do any more thoughts about it, okay, 3 stars. When eating and drinking, I therefore come on average to exactly 2.5 stars. Round up? Round? I round up at dinner on 3 stars, although the cook was no longer present at the end and perhaps could have positively influenced the result of his entirely existing cooking by influencing the warming temperature. The service had not yet been able to raise the suspicion of glamour, neither by voice, nor by knowledge of the cards or food, now the requested invoice came through Miss Black, only 2 positions, both wrong. Only the wine I noticed, other name, of course the price was 90 cents higher. Miss Black reduces the price to my opposition by 1 Euro. At home I then see black on white the advertised menu price of 6.90 € in advertising, were calculated 7.90 €. Of course, you can also get costs in, but then I feel as a guest. Conclusion: 3 odds played, no further visit to my part, no recommendation
