Tack's Sandwich Shop - Reading

Tack's sandwich shop has no wifi and no parking. They make great tuna melts but you have to specify how you want it. There is a casual atmosphere. Friendly cooks no outdoor seating limited indoor seating and they have delicious cheese steak sandwich. As far as I know as of 2017 they only take cash.

I understand business may be altered due to COVID but it doesn’t matter what time of the day or what day of the week you call them NO ANSWER! It’s listed closed on Mondays. How about the rest of the week? Call any other day no matter what time 11am, 1pm, 3:30 no answer ever! How about being business savvy and posting your hours........ somewhere, anywhere. On the door, on an answering machine, on the website! Awful!!

Very disappointing at one time the cheesesteaks from here were one of a kind because of the sauce, No more, the food we had here tonight was awful, no flavor, a hot greasy mess. The best thing was the bottled cream soda.

Tuesday evening around 6pm not open. Hours are till 9pm. Must not be doing well that they aren't open. Lost my business. Kept calling thinking maybe they were busy but I drove by, dark. Not sure what's going on but definitely not like they used to be. If they want more customers this is not the way to do it. Being closed early on a week days. Used to be one of my favorite places. Food is not even close to what it was 10 years ago. Skimmping on sandwiches and the tacks sauce doesn't taste the same. Bring back old employees and bring Tacks back to life. Them ladies ran that place and food was delicious.

This little gem is a nice place to eat food nice atmosphere relaxing area to get a bite to eat
