Although this resturant os not at all what I was expecting, especially with it being the only one in Riesel I was pleasantly surprised Not at all fancy reminded me more of a country store, casual dress, comfortable atmosphere, quite a few choices on the menu, which I'm hoping to try each one at some point. They are well known for their amazing steak's which looked and smelled fantastic. O had the chicken fried steak which was huge and very delicious/.the sides vary and some days they have specials and open for lunch. Prices are a bit on the high side however worth it because of the great service. Quality and quantity of the meals all freshly made when order placed. Call ahead. Take out, dine in all are great choices. Come Early on weekends I think everything in town eats there as well. Very good experience. I'll be back. This is the best place to eat between college station and Waco. If you're on highway 6, take the exit and stop and get some good food.
