Mcdonald's Restaurants - Redditch

Fabulous service, couldn’t be more helpful, food piping hot. A stressful day but ended well with this treat

Visited late one evening when the shopping centre and the restaurant was very quiet. Food was fresh and hot, friendly staff.

It is not often I do a review on Trip Advisor, but just had to make sure that the superb service I received tonight from the team at McDonalds in Redditch Town Centre didn't go unnoticed. My little boy wanted a cinema party and then to go to McDonalds afterwards. It was a large party there were 22 of us 17 children. I pre ordered all the food by email and reserved an area with Naomi, who couldn't have been more helpful. When we arrived at McDonalds, I was told that the food was all ready for us (they must have gone up to check with the cinema on the film's finishing time which was great); all I needed to do was to pay for the food and they'd bring it straight over. Brilliant! The order was absolutely spot on and all the kids were happy. They even accommodated some last minute swaps on drinks. They'd decorated the tables beautifully, they had even written my son's initial on the Birthday cake in candles. And even sang Happy Birthday twice because we hadn't got our cameras ready!!! Nice touch and lovely attention to detail. They'd got all the straws and sauces ready for us, anticipating everything that the kids might want to make the party go smoothly. It was all managed brilliantly and the kids had a great time. But, this is where I think the team, and especially Ryan, Naomi and Nathan, really excelled tonight. In the rush to drop all the children off home as it was getting late, I lost my phone. Hadn't realised until I got home so I rang the store and they did a thorough search of the store which didn't turn anything up. Ryan even checked all the bins for me to see if he could find anything. I thought it might be helpful to go back to the store and have a look, but still nothing. I went home again feeling rather upset that I had lost my phone. Meanwhile, however, It turns out that Ryan had gone back to the waste area and done another thorough search for me. Luckily the Find My IPhone app was bleeping on my phone and he managed to pull out my sauce covered phone from the waste. I must have thrown it in the bin whilst clearing up!! This was very kind of him. Thank you guys, you showed truly exemplary customer service tonight, well done. My son had a superb birthday too! Great idea for a party xxxx

Completely the wrong delivery. Phoned Macdonald's and the response was totally rude and blaming Just Eat and Uber and the phone was put down. Now Just Eat and Uber don't cook the food or organise it going out to the drivers. So disappointed, had far too much food delivered which should have gone to whoever ordered it and didn't get mine. So much waste the manager at Macdonald's obviously doesn't care about, let alone customer service. Be very careful if you ever order from here.

What is the point of ordering and paying ahead of time on the app only to wait 20 plus minutes in store for a simple breakfast order? Whilst my order remained static and in progress on the board, Uber and Deliveroo drivers et al, were served and dispatched in very short order, leaving other customers very annoyed, myself included. I think you need to be honest and tell your clientele that you prioritise delivery orders, because that 's what it looks like.
