Feedback gevenI would like to commend Holly for handling the situation with grace and not walking out. In a customer-focused setting, it is crucial to possess good people skills, not only with customers but also with fellow staff members. I sincerely hope that this matter will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate actions will be taken.
Came here with my family and my nephew enjoyed his chicken curry. My sister enjoyed her breakfast. My mom enjoyed her breakfast. However I was disappointed in my meal, I had a chicken and cheese omelette which was absolutely horrible sadly. The chef tried to hide the burnt parts with the cheese, it takes burnt and smelt burnt. Really disappointing but next time I’ll give something else a try.
Had a terrible experience at this cafe. I was drinking the last of my black coffee, and i felt something go into my mouth. I spat it back into the cup it was a huge Blue bottle fly. I took it to the counter all they said it was a coffee bean. I got them to tip it onto a tissue and they could see it was a fly!. All they said was sorry threw it away. I asked to speak to the manager. They said he was busy. I asked them to go and tell him what had happened. They waved me over to the kitchen. He rudely said what do you want I explained about the fly and all he said was sorry, we can give you another coffe , dismmissed me and carried on cooking. I felt so ill, knowing I dad had a dirty fly in my mouth. It must have been in the cup before the coffee was poured into it, I couldn 't see it until the last drop of my coffee because I drink black coffee. Before this incident happened,my friend had just commented, that the cafe wasn 't very clean, and the waitresses were all grouped around the counter messing with their hair and giving each other neck massages. I certainly will not be returning
I had a veggie breakfast with burgers instead of sausage or bacon, and also ordered cheese on toast. The cheese on toast appeared to have been prepared in the microwave, which was disappointing as it made the toast seem stale. The coffee was excellent. There were more staff than customers, but I did not see any staff members sanitize after a customer left.
After being regular customers here it saddens me the terrible service received today. First of all the young lady at the till.. lovely, polite and apologetic. The man in the kitchen however, rude, unhelpful and didn’t even have the courage to look in my direction. My 2 year old has several severe allergies and could only eat one thing on the menu, egg and chips which is fine. However as parents know toddlers can be fussy creatures and won’t eat the white part.. all I asked was you to whip the egg in the pan instead of fry it.. I didn’t ask for extra egg or milk (as he can’t eat it) to be used, literally stir it around abit. I’m not sure if your culinary skills aren’t up to this maybe but I’m guessing you just don’t care as you just shrugged when asked if you’d do it by the waitress. Four times we asked and you couldn’t make the effort for a little one to get lunch. Luckily for us we walked around to muffin break who made him something from scratch and couldn’t of been more helpful. You’ve lost a family of 6 regular customers because of your terrible attitude.
