The Golf Course At Branch River

Bugs. Oh my god, bugs. Thousands of gnats. You can?t get away from them. The course is unplayable with the pest issue. Pesticides recommended.

Pretty nice golf course. Water and creeks throughout. Some interesting turns and challenges. Greens in great shape and were fast even when dewy wet in the morning. Nice staff and just a small pro shop. Could use some newer carts.

Nice course, but the gnats can be quite bothersome. You have to learn to ignore them. The course is long, so play from the tees that match your ability. Always in excellent condition, excellent practice facilities, and really nice people. Update 6-25-22:Very cordial proshop staff when we checked in. Course in excellent shape as always. Beverage cart service was excellent. Wewanted to have a bite to eat after our round, but all they had was burgers and brats.

This course is wonderfully maintained. What makes it special is that there are winding rivers and creeks throughout the property. They also have new golf simulators! Haven?t tried those yet? but I will be back! The new menu and food are excellent.Staff is friendly and very accommodating. This is a hidden gem!

Golf course is well taken care of. A beverage cart comes around decently. Food is great!
