Unfortunately, the service was lacking during the paint night, as our server was often on her phone at the bar and did not check on us frequently. However, once we were seated in the dining area, the service improved. Our server was friendly but inexperienced, and struggled with the menu. Despite this, the food was delicious, but the portions were small. The ravioli dish did not come with any additional sides, which may not be sufficient for someone with a big appetite. The chicken Parmesan had a better portion size, but still lacked any vegetables or salad. The prices were on the higher side, considering the lack of accompaniments with the meals. The interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated, but it is crucial for them to focus on training their staff and providing more substantial portions to match the value of their meals.
My lunch experience at Twisted Vine today was quite enjoyable. I began with the delicious blushing sangria and shared the excellent Bruschetta with my companions. The vegetables were flavorful and perfectly cooked. For my main course, I had the Chili chicken pasta, which featured grilled chicken in a Rosé Chili Pesto sauce on homemade noodles that were just the right thickness. The chicken was flavorful and the sauce had a subtle hint of spice.
The atmosphere is intriguing, but I was hoping for more than just a fast food-style restaurant. It was very crowded and difficult to find a table, as many tables were pushed together. The food was tasty, but the bustling, fast food-style environment didn't allow for a peaceful, intimate dining experience. I would eat here again, but I would try to come during off-peak hours to secure one of the few individual tables for a more enjoyable dining experience.
Had the Italian nachos that were really good and paralyzed my root beer was good, but I ordered the sticky toffee pudding. It was terrible. Not sticky at all. It was like a dried hard nothing without taste. You should think about the recipe.
Have been here 4 times, each time was okay. The last time, our waitress was wearing flip flops...not very professional for the type of restaurant they are trying to portray! The food was okay
