One name I do remember is Tana Cole, the Reservations Manager. She has been incredibly helpful over the years and is always so friendly. During the pandemic, I must have reserved and canceled our stay at least half a dozen times due to the border being closed and all the chaos that followed. Tana was always patient and understanding—truly the best! Thank you, Tana, for everything you do for your guests. Additionally, I would like to request some notes and pens in our room; we like to leave a daily tip and a note for the housekeeping staff. Also, please consider adding the cheeseburger to the bar bites menu at the Sports Bar—it's our go-to dish on the night we arrive.
Really enjoyed my stay the guest rooms were oversized, including the bathroom that was fantastic. I was worried about the casino that smells hard of smoke and my clothes took it, but that wasn't the case at all. I ate in several restaurants and all were fantastic!
This was the worst hotel stay of my life so far. My husband and I were staying overnight for his best friend's birthday. The next morning we got up and he took a bath. He drained the tub and we were getting ready to start our day when we got three phone calls in a row. On the third answer it was the front desk telling us we had a leak in our room. While we were still on the phone a maintenance man was at our door. We weren't dressed or ready for him to enter our room to check. We quickly dressed and he stuck his head in our room to see if there was any leaks or water. My husband was trying to tell him there was no water running at the time and we had just drained a bath so the leak must be in the pipes. He insisted that it was our fault and that we had left the bath on to overflow. The manager my husband spoke to wasn't any better. They finally entered our room to check and found nothing. The manager of the hotel offered to buy us breakfast and waved the resort fee $50) for any inconvenience this caused us. Needless to say our trip was already ruined. Two weeks later my husband gets an additional $250 charge to his credit card for room damage. There was no damage when we checked out. When we both spoke to the manager about this he was unwavering and blamed us for this event. We are honest people and would never ruin a hotel room. We will never be back and are telling everyone we know about this to save them from making the same mistake we did when we booked a room at The Atlantis.
Even though the facility is going through renovations, my three-night stay was perfect. My room was clean, the bed super-comfortable. I did enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool which was comfortably warm but not so warm that I couldn’t swim laps for 40 minutes. Room service is prompt. All hotel services are accessed via smart tv. I’ll stay there again.
