The menu changes regularly, so it adapts to the seasonal availability of the ingredients. This is definitely worth a detour, or, perhaps even a trip, just to eat here. But, do reserve, they can get busy.
A lovely young Parisian family set up in the middle of Provence and living above this old abandoned school village. And they have got it so right. Small seasonal menu with a quirky little wine list nice mix of local, classic and natural wines. Lovely setting with space for kids to play aroung. Pretty perfect
We came for lunch on a Sunday to this newly opened bistro in the small village Esparron de Pallières and were very positively surprised. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. I don’t eat meat and had some difficulties choosing a main course, but it was no problem at all replacing the main course with a second (vegetarian) starter. Everything was very tasty and nicely presented. An extra plus for the good coffee! There is a nice selection of wines, also for sale, from village producers, and the waitress was happy to provide detailed information about them. I warmly recommend this bistro to anyone passing by or staying in the region.
