The latte was pretty good, and I enjoyed the sandwich. The girl who served me was friendly and bubbly. Unfortunately I spilled some latte on my white sweater. Wanting to act quickly I asked a different girl at the counter if there was any soap (whether dish soap or hand soap) they could give me (which would also save me from hauling my stuff from my seat to the restroom). She said no, pointed to a napkin and told me I could use that. I explained it wasn’t working on my sweater. A few minutes later I approached the counter and asked the girl who initially served me if there was any kind of soap they could spare. The initial girl said they had no soap, and pointed to the hand sanitizer for customers. I explained I was worried it wouldn’t work, and the friendly lady who initially served me offered to go get me some soap. It appeared the other lady pulled her aside, and the the first girl returned telling me she couldn’t . I am not sure if there is a lack of hand hygiene/ soap at this restaurant, or if the one person working is just a gate keeper of soap in her spare time, but was so disappointed in the lack of customer service. Decided against a smoothie or ever returning. The latte was not worth it.
You can never go wrong with Joe The Juice, especially this one! Super nice and very friendly staff , delicious and healthy food and drinks, definitely worth to wait in the long line. Don’t be put off by those long lines as it goes very fast and staff is so efficient that you get your drinks and orders in no time. As usual multiple options of healthy food from bowls to sandwiches and very good juices and smoothies. Love the vegan selection especially Re-Build 2.0 ! Alternative milk options are plenty, something for everyone’s taste.
What a gem!!! For a fraction of the cost of the other airport places you can get their TUNA Avocado sandwich panini and it's BIG delicious. I actually thought I was misreading the prices on their menu because it's really great. I can't rave their sandwich enough. It was so good the pesto and avocado combo. I also got the blue magic protein shake but substituted avocado with Açai which was delicious healthy. I went back for a cold brew but they did not have it that day so I opted for a regular coffee black which met expectations :)Edit:Went back to try their Tuna Green Bowl. It didn't miss. The brocollli was a bit hard and undercooked personally but maybe it's healthier to have more raw to keep the nutrients.I also ordered a Blue Spuralina. It was DIVINEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!. SO CREAMY not too sweet and full of good micronutrients
This location at the Vancover, BC Canada Airport is poor, compared to others. No credit card machine functional and a small sign at the register stating cash only, after waiting in a long line. Only dispensing Canadian change which is understandable, but I’m in the US International terminal geez! How about a little US cash on hand. I spent all my Canadian money! My latte was lukewarm
Staff was friendly. The Tunacado sandwich was excellent! Might’ve needed a bit of salt, but that’s my preference. Will have to try the Spicy Tunacado next time.
