Botto Bistro - Richmond

I can't believe it took me so long to visit this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The service was friendly and very attentive. I'm looking forward to trying everything on their menu!

I went here with a friend who didn't expect anything and was pleasantly surprised. The Aubergines Parmesan was very good as the Panini-Arugula salad. There is no table service and very little atmosphere overall, but eating more than compensated. You have to take food that would probably be a better option than “to eat”. The pizza gets great reviews, but I didn't try. Many humor is used in their publicity as they “worst service”, “worst food”, etc. I would go back to a casual lunch or going out.

I can't find a way to rate this place anything less than 5 stars. The pizza crust is the best I've ever had, rivaling or at least matching any New York pizzeria. I tried the paprika pizza, and it was delicious. When it comes to quality, you have to be willing to pay for it, and I'm happy to spend $19 on a small pizza here.

I came across this bistro unexpectedly when an accident blocked the Cutting Road, and I needed to pass some time. It's quite casual here; you order at the counter, grab your drink, and then find one of the ten tables. You also bring your meal to your table. When I arrived, there was only one other group dining. The menu offers a variety of intriguing options, but I chose a special laminated burger, which was delicious, accompanied by fresh fries. The salad that came with it was tasty, although it lacked sufficient dressing. I also enjoyed a beer called Boont Amber, which paired nicely with my meal—definitely one of the better Ambers I've had. I would certainly come back again. One thing to note is that you have to request a key for the restrooms, which are generally reserved for customers but located at the back of the restaurant, so it shouldn't pose a problem for non-customers trying to use them.

I'm not sure how to feel about this place. The food is good, but it doesn’t have a great rating on Yelp, which is confusing. Plus, the prices are a bit on the high side...
