Tipsy Crab Seafood - Richmond

Went to Tipsy Crab after seeing they were open again. Boy oh boy they did NOT miss a beat. i got my fave the sweet and tipsy po boy with the amazing tipsy fries. Tasted just like i remember. Then i saw they had that delicious gumbo and seafood mac and cheese so i had to put in another order to get it And i made the best decision i could have. that seafood mac was seasoned and delicious with the good cheese and noodles lol. the gumbo was so hot and fresh i burned my tongue trying eat it too fast smh. it was worth it. so glad i can get my seafood fix again. Spoke with the owner and he said they were bringing back the bar so i can get those generous shots again. i kno where ill be on Saturday!!! next ill get the fat crab cake sammich!!! im excited lol i just wish the mac and cheese came super sized. i can eat that everyday.

Get the crab fries!! So delicious!!Stopped by here after a doctor's appointment at VCU. And wanted something light but filling, and that crab cake sandwich was perfect! Light, actual crab, lettuce, pickles and a sauce that was the perfect combo, and some hushpuppies to top it all off! The crab fries were also perfectly cooked, crisp and warm with real crab and a nice sauce on it. And the really nice lady that was working the bar, was great! She welcomed us in, helped us order, made recommendations and was great service!Definitely will be back!

I used to eat here 2-3 times a week for lunch. The food was always amazing! The tipsy crab fries were sensational and always fresh. The seafood mac was awesome as well. Great atmosphere and excellent service. I even had a chance to meet the owner and he was a great guy. I highly recommend this place to everyone. You will not regret stopping by the Tipsy Crab!

The food was life-changing. We got a chicken sandwich and the shrimp Po boy, both juicy and flavorful. The fries and hush puppies were steamy and delicious, the best we've ever had. The owner was very kind and helped us with things to do in Richmond. I would definitely recommend, and we will be coming back whenever we are in town.

The catfish po boy, fries, peach drink, sauce, and crab patties was all good!
