Feedback gevenI have been coming to this restaurant for years and the food is always consistently good. While it may not be the most amazing cuisine, the food is very tasty. I usually order for pickup and have never been disappointed.
I arrived at 7:30. Close to the closing time. I showed my Vax pass. I put my order and picked a table. Cash was boring. Laying with his chest and chin on the counter. No hello, no pleasures, no interest. Simply place your order, pay and choose a table. The restaurant is also very tired. How the owners don't care. Now the good news. I had the most beautiful pieces of Halibut for a while. Terrible, clean dough. Firmfish. Coleslaw was excellent. Now some bad news. The Pommes were good under the par. Understood and tasteless. I couldn't finish her The core of each fish and chip shop is the quality of fish and dough. That's obvious here. But the fries let the side down, bad. It is just a detail, but a detail like this next to the tired Filial Front and desinteressed staff will probably prevent the business repeating.
Fast service. Good portion sizes for the price (Family Pack). Best Halibut and chips in town, good Gravy too.
There for our monthly “Retiree” group dinner. It is a cozy, family-run place. I ordered the grilled halibut with salad and frits. Delicious house goodness! Great, accommodating staff! Comfortable, clean ambience!
I recently enjoyed a wonderful and relaxed dinner at a small, family-owned restaurant where Chef/Owner Amy prepares everything in-house using high-quality ingredients. The fish and chips, salads, and coleslaw were all expertly made and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fried shrimp, which were flavorful and generously sized. The cod, haddock, and halibut options we tried were perfectly cooked with a light and crispy batter. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were fair. Overall, a better value than nearby 'Allen's Fish Chips' at Major Mac and Bayview.
