Benacense - RIVA DEL GARDA

We visited this restaurant in September 19, the menu looked OK and it seemed busy, which we thought was a good sign! There were only two staff working so the service was very slow! We ordered drinks that took about 20-30 mins to arrive and even had to remind them we were still waiting! The food was good, although there was some confusion where the mains came out with the starters, which wasn’t ideal. The food is nice, if you can be bothered to wait to be served!!

Staff friendly and welcoming. Good selection of food to choose from. Pasta very tasty and fillet steaks were cooked perfectly and very tender. I would remind all that well done in Italy still means some redness, embrace, better flavour and tenderness. All food was freshly prepared and piping hot.

Came into a scarcely occupied restaurant with my daughter during a thunderstorm on Saturday night. Drinks order not fulfilled, water not offered, food was put in front of us without any hint of 'buon appetito ' it was quite tasty. We were keen to try some dessert on display in the cold cabinet but were not offered the opportunity... basically ignored and made to feel unwelcome and not sure why

I'm asked to wait for you to prepare for 15 minutes while a 12-person committee talks to the room manager spends more time and the situation I don't like explaining this wait and I'm told that the table was no longer available, blaming the waiter. I'm sure they'd just like to put 12 people at the table to make us some money, they just fired us with an apology. Anyway, the pizza we didn't eat, but to see that it was really ungodly.

We waited for about 15 minutes, because they had to clean a table after which they would let us sit. We were in four and the group, which followed us, was in ten. How did you imagine? I still see it's not the first time they've been acting like this. It's a shame. I don't recommend
