2nd Street Lunch - Roanoke Rapids

Best cheeseburger and hot dog on the planet!! I have been coming here 29 of the 30 years I have lived! The burger is to die for! I used to drive 2 hours

I visited this little "hotdog place" over the years when I visited relatives nearbyIt is a tiny place but the food was great.

Visit here as I don't live in the state. The staff is very nice and friendly. My group and I had only the Cheeseburgers, but if the rest of the offers are with the Cheeseburger, this place is worth it. Sandwich was very good, easy made, no additional unnecessary supplements. Burger tasted like fresh handmade patty, cooked exactly right, very humid and a great beef flavor. Would eat here regularly when I lived closer.

This place has the best hamburgers and hot dogs everywhere! Get the Cole Slav, it's incredible! Owners are big and they are the third generation. If you are close to Roanoke Rapids, you should pass.
