City Market Downtown - Rochester

I got the Tuna Salad Panini, which is what I get when I come here, although I’ve only been a few times. The line is always at the door because the food is made with fresh ingredients everyday. It is easy for me to call this the best deli/sandwich spot in Rochester, the variety of the menu and repeatable product is worth every penny (sandwiches are around $7-10). The location is fairly central, and there is some space inside and outside to sit.

Very little space, especially to sit and eat. So it's a great place to grab a sandwich and eat elsewhere. The food is great. A variety of hot and cold sandwiches.Food: 5/5

Great spot for quality and affordable food. I've done multiple group orders with city market and you can't go wrong. Just call instead of ordering online when there are big orders.Food: 5/5

Love their sandwiches and soups and the stag if always so nice and welcoming! Their brownies are amazing !

Pre pandemic, I worked just a block from City Market. Given I'm rarely downtown now on a weekday afternoon (working from home), I made sure to stop when I was able to yesterday.The staff was so incredibly welcoming and kind when we walked in. I ordered the veggie sandwich as well as the chicken penne pasta salad. They were both wonderful just as I remembered.I love visiting small local places who are killing it, because we are happy to support our hard working Rochester business owners. Thanks for yet another great experience!
