The Inn On Broadway - Rochester

Firstly checking in was bizarre- we had to have a hold put on our cards for $250 on top of the room we booked. This was done on a card we had used to book with but was declined for the $511.76 so we were charged a partial payment of $256.76. (Newlyweds and did not account for additional available funds) I then used another credit card and was told the initial payment did not go through. This was incorrect and after being charged $461.46 on a different credit card we spoke to the front desk in the morning. The original $256.76 was released but another charge appeared on the second card for $211.46 yesterday and I have still not been refunded from the original $461.46 even though we have called to speak to the managers. We booked this hotel as a nontraditional route to stay close by for a concert. In total we had 1,179.68 of authorizations placed on our credit cards for a SINGLE nights stay! We also heard the steakhouse was excellent and the in house bar was attractive to us when we agreed to book this room. However none of those amenities were available as we stayed on a Sunday night. The hotel room was very small, clean but did not offer any accommodations for meal preparations as descripted online. We did not feel invited by staff during our stay, the hotel was strange, quiet and uninviting. We will not be back.

Best stay ever. We slept there the night before our wedding in court and At the reception they upgraded us the room we had an amazing gas fireplace and wonderful walk in shower and huge tube like a swimming pool! Be aware no breakfast! Everybody has been very nice and welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant (at the bar as the restaurant was fully booked) and everything was amazing. Filet cooked perfectly and potatoes and spinach were tasty ! Dinner wasn't expansive but totally worth it! Will definitely come back there

Perfect everything. We had a suite with jacuzzi, room service from Tournedos, and the bed was so comfortable. Great location and staff.

You really can't get meat like this anywhere in the city because of dry ageing. The service is attentive without being overlaid or pretentious. It's expensive, but, again, you can't have a meal like this anywhere else.

Excellent experience! Food was very tasteful! I usually do not eat steak in restaurants because I feel they lack taste, so I ordered pork chops and they were absolutely delicious. My company ordered Steak and I tried it... it was also delicious! Wine was also great! Definitely a place to go back!
