Taqueria El Sueno - Rochester

I recently discovered this hidden gem a couple of weeks ago and wow, finally found authentic Mexican food. I grew up in San Diego and used to go to Mexico on weekends just to eat. After living in Minnesota for many years, I've been searching forever for good food. I finally found it!! The food is excellent, I can't get enough of the street tacos, supreme burritos, chips, and salsa. Thank you!!

Authentic Mexican. Not only the best Mexican food I've ever had, possibly the best food I've ever had. I've eaten there probably 10 times in the last month. I get the Mexican street tacos every time (including tonight). Carmen is the best. The habanero XX hot sauce is absolutely flavorful and delicious. The best!

The best Mexican in town. Her salsas are to die for and the food is top notch. I could (and would) eat there every single day and not get bored. It's a must try, but be prepared to get hooked.

Love this place. Went there today and thought it was great. I walked in and was treated like family, got some fantastic food, and left with a smile on my face. I was not allowed to leave until I tried all the salsas, and they were all great! Go here, eat the food I recommend pastor tacos) repeat!

Today (on Cinco de Mayo) we placed an order for takeout. We were informed that it would take approximately an hour for the food to be ready. The wait was not quite an hour, but it was definitely worth it! The food and salsas were delicious, and the service was excellent. We have definitely discovered our go-to Mexican restaurant in Rochester.
