Abbiamo sperimentato questo posto per caso come eravamo nella zona. Devo dire una grande scoperta, bel posto, bello e tranquillo. Grandi cocktail, ricchezza e molte cose da provare. Torneremo!

A huge spread of cured meats, cheeses and bread with your glass of wine. Great value, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere.

Turned out to be the favorite watering hole for the two women in our party who particularly liked their aperol spritzes. Their food menu is also interesting and everything we sampled there was tasty. Staff very friendly and service is good.

Great for cocktails, less for food. However, the cocktails are very good (barman is super competent) and the place is so nice that they deserve this rate. There is no air conditioning.

Ok, let 's get this straight from the start...This is not your typical Trattoria Romana where the waiters all have mustache and they sing songs playing their guitars, but...hey, those waiters actually only live at the Caesar 's Palace in Las Vegas and, if you find them here in Rome, they 're probably actors. Now, Mercat is seriously another side of Rome and reflects the area it lives in with its retro yet metropolitan style in a truly Romanesque way. The food could be summed up as Italian traditional cuisine meets the Americas . Again, it might not be traditional Italian meal but it 's exactly what Italian cuisine should stand for: fresh ingredients, great taste, great combination and SLOW FOOD. The owner and the staff will help you order, as it 's clear that they carefully chose their menu and therefore endorse it. The atmosphere is great for a romantic night as well as for a birthday party with friends...and the music is great. Overall, if you 're staying in the area, you want a bit of a change and you wanna check out a place where Romans really hang out...give it a try and leave room for dessert!
