In Rome there are so many mediocre restaurants, pizza places, bakeries and ice cream shops which cater mostly to thousands of tourists. This is one of the rare exceptions. This is not your regular American style pizza, this is the real deal. Simple and delicious. There are many varieties of focacce, pizze, cookies, breads and some special treats to choose from. The window displays make you salivate. You just have to take a number at the entrance and wait till when it's your turn, so that you can order what you like. They sell pizzas by weight. Just tell the server how big a slice you want them to cut for you. Buy a slice of whatever is fresh out of the oven. If you are staying around this area, just go inside and check out their amazing pastries sometimes. You cannot go wrong. Have fun exploring this local gem. We just bought few small pastries to take home and a slice of red pizza that we ate outside, while waiting for the bus. We liked it. It was very tasty. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the space looked good and clean. Prices were fair. Definitely a great neighborhood find! We will go back.
This bakery/pizza place was right across the street from the B&B at which we stayed. The pizza was very good (and freshly made all day long). All the breakfast and dessert pastries we tried were delicious. A very busy place, but the staff is quite friendly and helpful.
I visited here as I was staying nearby on my trip to Rome The staff are very friendly and the pastries are amazing. I struggled not to buy everything as it all looked so good!
Ottimi prodotti di qualità. Personale gentilissimo. Lo consiglio vivamente!
Se volete un ottimo pane che dura anche una settimana prendetelo qui. Poi dolci buonissimi, d'altra parte è il vecchio forno Gentilini tappa d'obbligo quando da ragazza andavo a scuola. Pizze buonissime e fritti deliziosi. Tutto questo farcito da gentilezza e cortesia. Cosa chiedere di più?
