A car park is close to the hotel. We had a seat reservation for the indoor area, but should take our seats at once on plastic garden chairs in front of the restaurant in the Heiligengeisthof. Other guests in the interior ultimately had to clear their seats and move to the outside. A conversation was hardly possible, as the music was above average loud. The card is clearly kept, even children's menus are offered. We and other guests had to wait about 90 minutes for the order at noon. A question for over an hour, when the food was coming, there were only some papal answers. During this hour, we were not even asked for new drinks, but also got our drinks, but a beer too little after another 10 minutes, with murky and grim looks. The food was then unpredictable, after 1.5 hours. This is also not surprising when two women stand alone in a camping kitchen and the so-called. It's better to put glasses behind the bar. The food was delicious, the portion size is appropriate to the price. I could have cut the carving with my fingernails, which would have been sharper than the knives provided. After two apple strudels with vanilla ice cream, the ice was all so that not every one of our family could order a portion. Conclusion: Rach der Restauranttester had made his favorite speech: Are you behind what you are doing here?! In my opinion, this restaurant has not grown up to its task. An excessively small kitchen and a lack of and unmotivated staff are building a great potential here. Total grade after schoolnotes: 4
Very friendly, nice and cozy middle stube came with a party of six people without booking, but were very nicely treated and got a round table that we could press around. we were all looking for a real carving and sure we were treated on the best possible wise. the service was fast and the beer even faster. I have visited rostock many times, but this is probably the best I have eaten in the city.
Was looking for a nice restaurant for dinner, and came upon this place. It is in a small square and looked nice from the outside. It is quite small inside with about 9 tables. Service was friendly and quick. The decor it interesting. The food...was very good indeed. I had the Wiener schnitzel with fries and my wife had white fish fillets with bratkartofelen. Price was very good indeed 2 mains and a large beer and a glass of wine was €32.10. What a deal considering it is in the middle of town!
The situation is not the best at first sight is in a backyard. But very nice staff and the environment and the food was very good. There is also the ability to sit out if the weather permits.
Lovely restaurant. friendly staff. genuine German restaurant, i.e. good food, relaxed, great prices and has its outdoors at a wonderful courtyard. well worth a visit.
