After we were at the beginning nicjt sure whether it was open we were glad to have found the entrance. The waitress greeted us kindly in Bavarian and the food came out of the kitchen with a fresh spice. The quality of the food was top and can only be recommended.
This place is located below the chapel church of the same name, which is also worth a visit. Delicious dishes are offered. These are very tasteful and also visually well presented. The service was very friendly, but the food lasted a bit long and was served after about 50 60 minutes. But it was worth it!
The Siebenschläferstüberl has its name from the Siebenschläferkirche, located next to the restaurant, which is of art-historical importance. We were here at Christmas with several people. There was also the first problem here, as our table did not match the size. The guests coming after us seemed to have similar problems. The classics of Bavarian cuisine are on the map. Their quality is at a good level. At dinner the service (or actually the kitchen) was very fixed and it actually was all good. Small criticisms are the very large plates, which together with side plates make a table with too many people rather narrow. All in all, the visit has disappointed me, especially in comparison with previous visits, which are however several years behind. Especially since the service at the reservation problem did not respond very friendlyly, although their note was actually clear with the reservations. In addition to our special problem, it is still a rustic Bavarian restaurant with a solid regional cuisine that I would still visit again, but perhaps not with the large family.
Very idyllic guest house with beer garden right next to the Siebenschläfer church near Ruhstorf. Very friendly service and cozy beer garden. Traditional cuisine and beer from Austria. A magnificent place to rest and relax.
We had baptism of my grandson in the seven-leaf church. Below the church is the restaurant.
