Ambiance Really nice Service Excellent Food Paella was toooooo salty Dessert small portion. Chocolate one was yummy. Rice pudding was OK.
Lunch meal that was on the higher end of the price range totalling 77 for 2 (no alcohol). Tapas was generally good, but the Paella which I expect to be their signature dish given one of the most expensive dishes was burnt. Mid tier rating, it satisfied our hunger but wouldn't necessarily be the first on recommendations.
Food was alright, a bit pricey compare with the quality. Service was good. There are definitely some better options for tapas if you are in London.
TLDR; delicious food but let down by being understaffed and a tad on the expensive side The food here is undoubted delicious. The Pluma Iberica did not disappoint and the twice cooked lamb was also amazingly rich and flavourful. Their pardon peppers were consistently spicy which was a very pleasant surprise as I’ve heard only 1 in 10 are suppose to be hot! In terms of food, the only let down was the churros. It was thin, bland and the chocolate sauce was way too runny. Steer away! An otherwise great experience was diminished by the atmosphere and slow service. The interior was designed like a pub, in fact I suspect this building used to be a pub. This means that loud conversations are amplified and reverberated across the restaurant. The table service was brilliant but slow. The poor lady had to tend to 7+ tables all by herself for the majority of the evening. We had to wait almost 30mins for our beers and ask multiple times. The food arrived first and was getting cold . Our waitress did an amazing job but the place is definitely under staffed. Finally, it’s a tad on the expensive side. For the 2 of us, beers and 7 dishes came to just shy of £85.
